Faith Regional Rehab Facility

Faith Regional needed a space that would allow them to provide the highest level of quality care for all patient needs as they relocated their rehabilitation department in Norfolk, Nebraska. They decided to remodel an existing space and create an updated aesthetic that reflected the Faith Regional Healthcare system brand. The resulting space is a fully functional rehabilitation facility that provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with sports medicine.

This remodel added an acceleration area made up of a stretch of turf for the patients to use when overcoming injuries during treatment. A larger room includes a mix of equipment and tables in an open area for providers to easily work with patients, in addition to curtained areas where they can have more privacy. A new therapy pool with a lift system and a viewing window allows therapists to see the patient’s movement clearly during rehab sessions.

Avant previously collaborated with Faith Regional’s facilities department and leadership team to create a standard finish palette. The remodel used this palette in all design details, creating a uniform, cohesive look that matches the other projects. Avant used thought and detail to ensure that there was always a smooth transition with the variety of floor finishes throughout the different functional spaces so the areas naturally come together into one facility.
