Quinn Global World Headquarters

With regional offices in Perth, UK and Canberra, Australia, Quin’s state-of-the-art research, development, and production facilities generate adhesives for a vast range of global industries. As the world’s largest spray canister adhesive manufacturer with the most comprehensive array of products, Quin Global wanted a unique new headquarters building in Omaha, Nebraska that reflects their industry authority in a blend of visual style and functionality.

Avant used engaging visual design elements while simultaneously ensuring the headquarters had all the necessary areas, including a demonstration space, laboratory and product testing area, hazardous storage, explosion restraint construction, and training room.

Black metal panels wrap the structure’s exterior, and bright blue extended window box accents in Quin Global’s corporate color surround the windows, creating an appealing high contrast. In a move that blends functionality and aesthetic design, the extended window box element provides sun shade in the afternoon. Adjacent to the main entry, the warehouse and production side were made with precast for durability and easy, quick construction.

The unique building design is visible through a large glass façade. A graphic wall spanning two floors welcomes visitors upon entering the space, drawing their eyes upward as it sits near a staircase with glass railings.

Industrial-style open ceilings serve as a reminder of Quin’s manufacturing expertise and add dimension. Large angled linear lights provide contrast with the industrial ceilings and are an intriguing viewpoint for their space. Clearly visible from the main road outside during the day and evening hours, these lights give an energetic feeling to those looking at the building — keeping Quin in their minds even as they drive past.
